Were you touched by Zascha Friis’ story this festive season? Did you help the stranded Dane make it home for Christmas?

Then the Bucks Free Press wants you to be included in a photograph we are taking in Wycombe town centre tomorrow afternoon.

After Zascha’s boyfriend broke up with her just two weeks before Christmas, the 23-year-old nanny said she had nowhere to go and could not afford to fly home to Denmark.

Despite initially asking a community Facebook group for volunteering suggestions over the festive period, dozens of people on rallied round, raising hundreds of pounds in a matter of hours to pay for her flight to Copenhagen.

Our photographer will be meeting Zascha outside McDonalds in the High Street at 3pm and we would like anyone who was involved with the campaigning effort to be included in our photo.
