Update: £25,000 reward on offer after failed Marlow Lloyds Bank robbery.
A man attempted to rob a bank on Marlow High Street this morning.
Police confirmed they were called at 9.52am this morning after reports a man tried to take cash from a security guard inside the Lloyds branch.
Officers have said he was unsuccessful in his attempt, but have not confirmed if he was armed.
No arrests have yet been made, and police are urging anyone with information to call 101.
The attempted robbery follows break-ins overnight at Waitrose, where cigarettes were stolen, and at the Laurent-Perrier offices, where intruders left empty handed. It is not yet known if the crimes are linked.
