A woman had to be treated by paramedics after fire ripped through the roof space of a house.
Firefighters raced to a two-storey house in Grange View, Askett, at 7.32pm yesterday evening.
The woman was treated after suffering the effects of breathing in smoke.
At the height of the blaze, 23 firefighters were at the scene to tackle the blaze, including a crew from Princes Risborough, Haddenham, two crews from Aylesbury, a turntable ladder from High Wycombe and an officer.
Firefighters had to use two hose reels and four sets of breathing apparatus, and stripped away tiles and external boarding to deal with the fire.
