A village restaurant popular with celebrities Mary Berry and Jay Kay looks set to be turned into housing, with the owners looking to retire after nearly 30 years.
Proposals to convert The Old Plow at Speen into a house have been submitted to Wycombe District Council by the owners.
A letter submitted as part of the application states owners Malcolm and Olivia Cowan, who live in the first floor of the property, are seeking to retire after taking over the restaurant in 1988.
A decision on whether to grant approval for the application is likely to be made by planning chiefs at Wycombe District Council in early May.
Great British Bake Off star Mary Berry has described The Old Plow, in Flowers Bottom Lane, as her favourite local restaurant, while Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay is also reportedly a regular.
