The headteacher of the Royal Grammar School has paid tribute to a “cheerful and friendly” man who died in a motorway crash last week.
Roy Page has spoken highly of Seb Knowles, 26, who died in a car crash on the M40 in the early hours of Friday morning.
Mr Knowles is the son of Antiques Roadshow expert, Eric Knowles, and dozens of friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to the popular DJ and avid Wycombe Wanderers fan.
Mr Knowles was a student at RGS between 1999 and 2007.
Headteacher, Roy Page, described the former boarder as “a lovely, caring young man with a great sense of humour” who could have a mischievous side.
Mr Page said: “He was a very popular boy with his peers, teachers and domestic staff.”
He said Mr Knowles would often get involved in the school’s charity collections and described the former pupil as “cheerful and friendly”.
Mr Page added: “We at the school are terribly saddened. Our thoughts are with the parents at such a tragic time for them. It was a pleasure to have known Seb.”
