West Wycombe High Street is set to be resurfaced this month after Bucks County Council approved the scheme.
The work is expected to commence in mid-June and will take place over six nights.
This means there will be a full road closure from 7pm until 6am.
No work will be carried out over the weekend.
In a post on Facebook, Cllr Darren Hayday said: "There has been extra funding made available and I have used it to have the whole of the West Wycombe High Street resurfaced.
"It has taken me two years to get the Council to approve this scheme, we were fortunate enough to have the A40 and West Wycombe Road resurfaced recently but both stopped short of the village."
Notices showing the exact closure dates are expected to placed along the road nearer to the time.
