The number of people caught speeding in Princes Risborough has been revealed after the latest speedwatch session.
The statistics were outlined in the Princes Risborough and Hughenden Neighbourhood Police Team newsletter this week.
Community speedwatch teams, along with PC Turnham, monitored three different locations in the town on Saturday, June 4.
In one hour, between 11am and 12pm on Wycombe Road, near the Poppy Road junction, 40 motorists exceeded the speed limit.
At Longwick Road, opposite Cannon Place, 23 drivers broke the speed limit between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
Teams at the junction of The Avenue on Aylesbury Road caught 11 drivers speeding between 2pm and 3pm.
The speedwatch sessions are run by the Princes Risborough Neighbourhood Action Group, which relies on volunteers to take part.
Speedwatch does not have the ability to fine drivers, but hopes to educate drivers about road safety by sending out letters warning them about the dangers of speeding.
Anyone who would like to get involved in future sessions should email prisboroughnag@gmail.com.
