A school in Marlow is set to celebrate its 60th anniversary with a week of special events for pupils.
Foxes Piece School, in Newfield Gardens, will mark the milestone with a week of fun activities.
The pupils will research the history of the school and discover what school life was like for children in the past.
There will also be a balloon release, street party and tree planting and a time capsule reflecting 21st century school life will be buried on the school site.
All the current pupils will receive a commemorative medal to mark the occasion.
The week of celebrations will culminate with an open day on Saturday, July 11 and anyone with a link to the school is invited to join the festivities.
Pupils and families, staff and governors, past and present can take a tour of the School, view albums of photographs and watch archive films of past sporting events and drama productions.
There will also be a barbecue, children’s activities and a balloon race.
On Saturday, the fun starts at 11am and finishes at 3pm.
