Five generations of one family got together in Amersham this week for a rare photo opportunity.
Great, great grandmother Nancy Eames (94) was brought up in Marlow and now lives at the Rushmead Residential Care Home, Amersham.
She was joined on Sunday morning by her daughter Valerie Farrell (67), her grandson Darren Servat (48) and her great grandson Christopher Servat (31).
Christopher also brought along his two young children Zachary (18 months) and Olivia (five months).
Valarie, who was born and raised in Marlow and became a grandmother at the age of 36, said: “We have already got the fourth generation photo from when Christopher was born.
“As soon as Olivia was christened we decided that we had to get together to take another one.
“It is an opportunity that none of us will have again. It will be amazing for the children’s sake.
“It will be really nice to have one of the photos in my mother’s room at the home, and I would really like a copy as well.
“We have all had young families. I would like to see this tradition continue and I’m sure the future generations will keep it up.”
