Young people in Beaconsfield who dedicate their time to volunteering or caring for others can now be recognised as local heroes in the Mayor’s Youth Awards.
Nominations are now open for Mayor John Read’s youth awards, who says it is open to any young person aged up to 18 who “works, rests or plays in the town.”
They may be carers, volunteers, local heroes or sporting champions who deserve some recognition.
Nomination papers are available from Beaconsfield Town Hall and must be completed and returned to: Mayor’s Youth Award, Beaconsfield Town Council, Town Hall, Penn Road, Beaconsfield, HP9 2PP.
The closing date for nominations is Saturday, April 23, with the award set to be presented on Friday, May 6.
