Staff at Marlow Bottom’s top fish and chip shop joined others across the country in celebrating national fish and chip day on Friday.
Town Mayor Cllr Bob Johnson and his wife Shirley helped the team at Oysters Fish and Chip Bar on Brucewood Parade to mark the momentous day and celebrate the national dish.
The fish and chip shop was formerly known as Marlow Bottom Fish Bar until last month, when owner, Gavin Singh, decided to have a complete re-brand.
Cllr Johnson said: “It is great that Gavin here at The Oysters Fish & Chip bar in Marlow Bottom supports these National events and their Fish & Chips are fantastic and so well supported in the community with customers often coming from many different local towns to buy excellent Fish & Chips. Well done to all here.”
