Football fans in High Wycombe who are scared of missing England’s crunch game against Wales on Thursday are being offered the chance to work from offices in the town to ensure they do not miss a minute.

Workplaces across the country will have been inundated with requests for time off or for a change in shifts this week, but south Bucks residents need not fear.

Office space in the town is being opened up for free to allow workers to stay in High Wycombe and quell fears of missing the Euro 2016 match during the commute home.

England played their first match, against Russia, on Saturday evening with an average of 14.1million people reportedly tuning in.

Thursday’s match is once again expected to draw huge national attention, but disappointingly for most it has been scheduled by tournament bosses for a 2pm kick-off time.

Workplace provider Regus has now decided to open its business lounges at Aston Court, in Kingsmead Business Park, for free throughout the day, enabling people to work closer to home.
