A pregnant woman was dragged to the ground and kicked in the stomach by a group of thugs during an unprovoked attack in High Wycombe last week.
At around 12.51 pm on Tuesday, September 27 a 20-year-old woman was approached by a man and three women outside Dashwood Newsagents on Dashwood Avenue.
One of the women threw a can of drink at the victim’s head before dragging her to the floor and kicking her in the stomach causing her to sustain cuts and bruises to her head and stomach.
She has since been treated and discharged from Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Her unborn child was not injured in the incident.
The attackers were around 20 years old and drove away in a black Range Rover Evoque.
Investigating officer, PC Leigh Andrews based at High Wycombe police station, said: "This was an unprovoked attacked on a pregnant woman.
“Thankfully the victim only sustained minor injuries during the incident however it is important that we identify the offenders.”
