EastEnders star, Ross Kemp, will be the star attraction at a village Christmas lights switch-on this week.
The television tough guy will be visiting Bourne End on Friday (December 2) to help switch on the children's Christmas light, which was designed by a primary school pupil.
Maisie Paice, 10, who goes to St Paul's School in Wooburn, will see her gingerbread man design made into a Christmas light for the village's annual festive fun night.
Her winning design will be lit up with the help of the actor.
The Christmas lights will be switched on from 5pm in The Parade and Wakeman Road.
The shops and businesses of Bourne End are teaming up with the community association and the Rotary Club of Cookham Bridge to stage the festive celebration.
Santa will be in his grotto at the Bourne End Motor Company and there will also be a mini funfair and bouncy castle, while shops will be staying open late.
