Tens of thousands of people turned out to the 12th annual AeroExpo UK Festival of Aviation at Wycombe Air Park last weekend.
Around 500 aircraft took to the skies at the event over three days – June 1 to 3 – which saw 10,000 revellers enjoy an “aerobatic” air display, and get up and close to the latest aircraft on the market, as well as test drive some of the planes.
The 2017 line-up also included the UK debut of the Piper M600 aircraft.
Those wanting to learn more had the chance to attend seminars, which included presentations from the British Women Pilots’ Association, CAA and Garmin, as well as YouTube sensation Jason Schappert.
The air show included displays from Richard Goodwin Aerobatics, Guy Westgate in a Glider FX and CRM Aviation.
A spokesman for AeroExpo UK, Roxana Ayling, said: “The organisers of AeroExpo UK are sincerely thankful for the commitment and support from Wycombe Air Park, media partners, exhibitors, visiting pilots, visitors and the supporting staff.
“The support makes this annual event a focal point for the general aviation community in the UK.”
