The 4th Beaconsfield Scout group’s annual litter pick returned for its fifth year last week as part of the town council's 'Beautiful Beaconsfield' initiative.
The scouts joined forces with The Beaconsfield Society and Beaconsfield Town Council for the biggest community spring clean so far in the town.
It was launched by Beaconsfield mayor Cllr Chris Owen and involved community groups and residents organising cleaning events throughout the town during the week.
The week culminated in a litter pick at Town Hall Green on Saturday and a spring clean event with The Beaconsfield Society and WI, also at Town Hall Green, on Sunday.
Cllr Philip Bastiman, deputy leader of Beaconsfield Town Council, said “I am delighted that the town council and local community groups can join together to support the fantastic example set by Beaconsfield Scouts.
“I am grateful to Jeannette Buckle from the Beaconsfield Society for her help in organising this event.”
