Former Wycombe Wanderers defender Aaron Pierre has turned down an offer from the club to join League One side Northampton Town.
Pierre played for the Chairboys 149 times and scored 10 goals.
His departure comes after the club signed Egypt international Adam El-Abd.
A number of new offers were made for the out-of-contract defender by the Adams Park outfit before Pierre decided to sign with Northampton, the Bucks Free Press understands.
After the news was announced this afternoon, Wycombe Wanderers tweeted the player to wish him well.
Aaron left the #Chairboys this summer after turning down the offer of a new contract and we wish him well with his new club.
