A long-standing Beaconsfield councillor has died, it has emerged.
Alan Walters served as a Beaconsfield Town Councillor for fourteen years and served as town mayor in 2004.
He was most recently voted in to represent Beaconsfield in the Bucks County Council elections in May.
Mr Walters lived in Beaconsfield with his wife and children for 25 years and received an MBE for his work within the town in 2015.
He also served as South Bucks District Council chairman between 2010 and 2013.
