A major south Bucks road was closed by emergency services after a crash involving a car and a van this morning.
There was very slow traffic due to the accident on A355 Gore Hill, between A413 and Magpie Lane.
The busy southbound lane – taking traffic from Amersham to Beaconsfield – was closed while emergency crews were at the scene, but has now been opened.
The lane travelling in the opposite direction was reopened at around 8.20am.
***Further Update*** - A355 is now OPEN again between #Amersham & #Beconsfield, #Thanks for your patience. Pls RT. #C9163

With long queues also currently on the M25, the rush hour accident has caused further delays across south Bucks, with parts of Amersham and Beaconsfield currently gridlocked.
It has not yet been confirmed if anyone was injured during the crash.
