A “high risk” missing 80-year-old who disappeared this morning has been found.
Edward Wilson went missing at around 11.50am today from Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Common.
However, detectives leading the search have tonight confirmed that he has been found having fallen in a garden.
He is now understood to be receiving medical treatment.
Head of tactical and specialist firearms for Hampshire Constabulary and Thames Valley Police, Ed McLean – who was also overseeing policing operations across Buckinghamshire this weekend – tweeted to say that the pensioner had finally been found.
He said: “Everyone, thanks for all your help.
“We’ve located Edward Wilson (80 yrs of age). He was found having fallen in a garden - he’s cold and wet and is being attended to by medical staff.”
