A 46-year-old woman has died following a crash on a major road between Langley and Iver.
The B470 Langley Park Road was closed for several hours yesterday after the accident, which took place near the junction with Lossie Drive at around 2.10pm.
A blue Yamaha MT-07 motorcycle was involved in a crash with a pedestrian, who sadly died at the scene.
The motorcycle rider, a 20-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The woman’s next of kin have been informed.
Investigating officer PC Katy Kent, of the serious collision investigation unit, said: “We are carrying out an investigation into this incident, and I would like to speak to anyone who saw either the motorcycle or the pedestrian involved prior to the collision.”
