Bin collections are expected to return to normal this week after The Beast from the East delayed services.
Chiltern and Wycombe District Councils say “contingency plans” were put in place from March 2 after heavy snow and icy roads meant the usual collection schedule could not be completed.
Some frustrated residents took to social media days after the snow had cleared, to ask the councils when their bins will be collected.
@wycombedc Dedmere Rise and Dedmere Court STILL waiting for recycling to be taken away after last week's weather. We have to put the black bins out tonight! What is going on? Nothing on bin updates and no reply to my contact form.

Speaking on Friday, spokesman for Wycombe District Council, Shauna Hichens, said: “This week Serco has caught up with all of the rubbish collections that weren’t completed last Thursday and Friday because of the extreme weather conditions.
“This was successfully achieved while continuing collections due this week.
“Recycling collections are virtually complete, give or take a few roads. These will be completed by the end of today.
“From Monday, March 12 we are expecting all services to run as normal, with all bins collected as scheduled.”
