A woman was injured in a motorway crash which saw cars 'scattered' across the carriageway near Loudwater last night.
Firefighters had to release the injured woman from one of seven vehicles that was involved in the smash on the M40 southbound carriageway close to junction 3.
A total of 17 other people were out of the vehicles by the time emergency services arrived at the scene at around 7.30pm.
As well as police and paramedics, six different fire crews - from High Wycombe, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Langley and two from Maidenhead - were needed to help at the scene.
