Primary school pupils from Flackwell Heath created colourful headwear to celebrate Easter this week.
Children at Carrington Infant School, in Chapel Road, created their own intricate Easter bonnets for their annual parade through the village.
While the parade was unfortunately a washout due to heavy rain, the pupils still got to show off their elaborate designs, which they made themselves at home for the parade.
Creative designs ranged from headbands to extravagant hats with flowers, feathers and Easter animals.
Vivian Baker, who works at the school, said the children had a good time despite the bad weather.
She said: “The children came up with wonderful creations which they home-made.
“Our lollipop man came in to judge the entries with the head teacher.”
