Motorists were stuck in hour-long delays this morning after a double crash caused traffic chaos on the M40.
Accident investigation work was being carried out between M40 junction 1A (M25) and J2 (Beaconsfield) after two separate crashes on the busy stretch of motorway.
Drivers were warned to expect long delays, with travel time around 50 minutes at the time.
The two accidents are understood to have been blocking three lanes of the motorway before emergency services arrived.
All lanes have now reopened.
