A car owner had a gun held to his head after a group of men stole his vehicle after taking it for a test drive in Stokenchurch.

The man, 44, had placed an advert on an auction website selling his grey BMW M3.

A group of men answered the advert, claiming to be genuinely interested in buying the car.

The victim accompanied the men in the car when they took it for a test drive on May 9 at around 11.30pm.

As they turned onto Bolters End the men threatened the car owner with a gun and told him to get out of the car before driving off.

He suffered a slight scratch to his right cheek after the gun was held to his face.

The robber who drove the vehicle is described as Asian, aged 20 to 25-years-old, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 7in, skinny or slim build with short dark scruffy hair and a scruffy short beard and wearing dark casual clothing. He introduced himself as Mohammed.

The offender who sat as a rear passenger in the victim's vehicle is Asian, aged 25 to 30-years-old, 5ft 11in and slightly overweight.

He had shorter dark hair and was wearing a white top. This is the man who threatened the victim with a gun.

The men arrived in a VW Golf. The driver of this vehicle was not seen.

Detective Constable Rachael Peddie from Force CID in High Wycombe said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have seen a grey BMW M3 and VW Golf in convoy after 11.30pm on Wednesday night.
