A housing association is installing bollard lighting in a “dangerous” area of Marlow.

It comes after Marlow Town Council installed solar light panels to all the existing lamp posts in Liston Court, which mayor Jocelyn Towns said was dangerous at night.

Around two-thirds of the lamp posts have had the solar panels fixed and the town council said it was lobbying Red Kite to update its section.

Red Kite said it is currently carrying out work to the lighting that it owns.

Spokesman Julie Gamble-Kempe said: “We are installing upgraded bollard lighting and this work is due to be completed by Friday, May 25.”
