A surprisingly low number of street parties will be thrown across Bucks on the day of the long-awaited royal wedding.
Hundreds of people were expected to party throughout Saturday to celebrate HRH Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle’s big day.
However it looks like patriotic parties in Bucks will be few and far between, as just 14 roads in the county look set to be closed for the celebrations on Saturday.
To mark the marriage, BCC waived the fee usually imposed on closing streets for public celebrations.
The following roads have all applied to Bucks County Council for closures ahead of the wedding day:
Mill Meadow, Fairford Leys, Aylesbury
Highbridge Road, Aylesbury
Briars Close, Aylesbury
Middle Field, Weston Turville
Burcott Close, Bierton
Thame Road (cul-de-sac), Haddenham
Marriotts Way, Haddenham
Grendon Road, Edgcott
Portobello Close, Chesham
Patterson Road, Chesham
Princes Lane, Lee Common
Hampden Road, High Wycombe
Main St, Chackmore near Buckingham
