Another Wycombe pub has closed its doors this month.

The Junction Pub and Kitchen, on the corner of London Road and Cock Lane, has shut down.

The reason for the pub's closure has not been revealed, however a spokesman for the pub confirmed that while there are "no plans" to reopen on the same site, it could reopen at a different location in the town "soon".

The pub is the latest in the town to close following the likes of The Beaconsfield Arms and the Half Moon.

The Beaconsfield Arms in Hughenden Road shut its doors in April despite tireless work by campaigners to save it.

The Half Moon on Dashwood Avenue also closed down, while the once-famous Nag's Head on London Road has also been turned into flats.

Residents who frequented High Wycombe's pubs said the area is becoming a "ghost town" as it continues to lose its "thriving" nightlife.
