Part of a supermarket in Loudwater has been cordoned off this morning after a break-in overnight.
The phone shop within Tesco along the London Road has been taped off and police are on the scene.
There are two officers outside, while two more inside are taking pictures. A number of items have been scattered across the floor.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a break in occurred at our Loudwater Superstore overnight and we are supporting the police with their investigations.
"Our store is open as usual and serving customers.”
Thames Valley Police have have confirmed they were called to the store at 2am and a 39-year-old man from Fulmer has been arrested on suspicion of burglarly.
He is still in custody and police are still investigating.
