Thousands enjoyed a spectacular air show over the weekend as the UK’s biggest festival of aviation returned to Wycombe Air Park.

AeroExpo 2018 delighted audiences who gathered at the Booker air field between June 14 and 16, with a stunning display of aerobatics by different aircraft.

Some of Europe’s finest display pilots demonstrated their skills and pushed their aircraft to its limits in a breath-taking air show on Saturday.

The festival’s headline attraction this year was Frank van Houten of Dutch Rush Aerobatics, who flew over the Bucks countryside in his Sukhoi 26MX.

Back on the ground, there were hundreds of displays from exhibitors including the British Women Pilots’ Association, Garmin International, Royal Institute of Navigation and Trig Aerobatic Team.

Organisers says they were “overwhelmed” with the support from both members of the public and the hundreds of exhibitors who joined the festival who helped make it “so memorable”, adding: “We look forward to welcoming you back in 2019.”

As well as thousands of members of the public and aviation fans, MP Grant Shapps – who represents Welwyn Hatfield – also attended the show.
