Firefighters tackled a number of fires in the south of the county this week as temperatures soared.
Crews from High Wycombe were called out to Hicks Farm Rise, in High Wycombe, at 4.54pm yesterday (June 26) to reports of a fire spreading to a fence from discarded smoking materials.
They used one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera.
In another incident, fence and trees were found on fire in Dashwood Avenue, also High Wycombe, at 9.49pm.
And firefighters from Aylesbury and Thame raced to Rudds Lane, Haddenham, to reports of a fire involving two garden sheds, at 11.16pm, where they used two hose reels, two sets of breathing apparatus, haydrags and a toolkit to tackle the flames.
It comes as a heatwave hit the country this week, with temperatures reaching highs of 28°C in High Wycombe yesterday.
