Drivers were forced to endure traffic chaos on the hottest day of the year so far while a man was arrested in the street in Chesham yesterday.
There were long delays on Berkhampstead Road on Tuesday afternoon while police dealt with the man.
The 24-year-old, from Bromley, was arrested in relation to an aggravated burglary that happened in London.
The arrest resulted in long queues, with school buses among those stuck in stationary traffic.
