Shocking CCTV footage captured the horrifying moment a much-loved mother and nurse was splashed with highly-concentrated sulphuric acid in High Wycombe - days before she died of her injuries.

Jo Rand had sat down on a bench in Frogmoor after visiting her daughter Charlotte's grave on June 3 last year when she became "caught up" in an incident that was happening just metres away.

CCTV footage released after Xeneral Webster, the 19-year-old who admitted her manslaughter, was jailed for 17 years shows the moments before, during and after the terrifying attack.

Webster can be seen approaching the scene before having a dispute with another man, Saqib Hussain, from whom he then tried to wrest a bicycle.

Webster produces the bottle of what he said was acid from his bag and threatens Mr Hussain with it.

Mr Hussain can then be seen knocking the acid out of Webster's hand before it splashes Ms Rand.

As Ms Rand hurries into a nearby fast food restaurant for help, Webster can be seen calmly cycling around the area and putting on a balaclava before returning to the bench to pick up the white acid bottle.

On Tuesday, Webster was sentenced concurrently for the manslaughter of Ms Rand, as well as other offences of threats to kill, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, criminal damage and affray.
