Three individually architect designed four and five-bedroom houses in a cul de sac off Spurlands End Road in Great Kingshill have been launched on the market this week by selling agent JNP New Homes.

Hughenden Place is the first scheme in the south of England by Haymarket Homes, part of the Kendrick Group, a name to reckon with in the construction industry in the West Midlands since 1880.

Max Kendrick, MD of the new company, is the sixth generation to join the family business.

He says the latest subsidiary will cover the whole of the south of England but specifically Bucks.

“Buckinghamshire is a perfect fit for us with magnificent surroundings and buyers who are clearly highly design conscious.”

He and his father chose Haymarket Homes for the name because it was the street in London where they were having coffee when they decided to launch the company.

Over the past 140 years the Midlands group has been involved in numerous landmark municipal, commercial and residential schemes across the region, one being the Market Square in Wolverhampton.

The specification for Haymarket’s debut collection of three houses at Great Kingshill includes a wine room, streamlined kitchen specially designed for the company, master suite with dressing room and Villeroy & Boch bathrooms.

Two of the houses have four bedrooms,  three bathrooms (two en suite) and three reception rooms plus kitchen/family room and separate utility.

One of the designs has five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a 23ft kitchen that’s open plan with the 21ft family/sitting room across the back of the house.

There’s also a separate utility room and a further reception room that’s 17ft by 20.

Prices weren’t released ahead of Friday's sales launch.
