Five teenagers have been charged with a string of offences including kidnap and assault after two 11-year-old boys were allegedly forced into a field in Denham.

On February 15 this year, the two boys were said to have been forced into a field near Old Mill Road and while one of them managed to get away, the second boy was attacked, had his belongings stolen and was forced to jump into freezing cold water and left to find his way home. 

A 15-year-old boy from Beaconsfield, a 14-year-old boy from Hillingdon and a 12-year-old boy from Ruislip were charged with kidnap, robbery, attempted GBH, attempted robbery and attempted kidnap following the terrifying incident, which happened between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.

A 15-year-old boy from Denham and a 14-year-old boy from Harefield were charged with kidnap, robbery and attempted GBH.

All of the boys were charged yesterday (August 5) and are due to appear at High Wycombe Youth Court on August 28.
