Firefighters battle field fire in village
Firefighters were called out to a field fire in Denham this morning.
Four fire engines battled a fire involving around 1.5 hectares of grassland, including a small area of woodland and undergrowth, at the rear of Lindsey Road.
Crews from Gerrards Cross, Langley, Slough and Windsor attended, along with two officers, at around 10.20am.
They used a main jet, two hose reels, water backpacks and beaters for the flames.
It comes after an inferno in Little Marlow destroyed 30 acres of fields and crops last month.
