A man was arrested outside a High Wycombe supermarket on Thursday evening in connection with a child sex offence.

The 43-year-old was arrested outside ASDA in Holmers Farm Way on suspicion of attempting to cause/incite a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity.

Police were called at around 7.30pm on August 8 amid reports of an "altercation".

The arrested man has been bailed to appear at Aylesbury police station on September 3.
