The streets of Marlow were paved with money on Saturday when a trail of coins was laid down in aid of hospice patients.
Generous Marlovians helped to raise an “amazing” £663 for the South Bucks Hospice, based at Butterfly House, by taping money to the pavement in the High Street on Saturday.
A team of eight volunteers from South Bucks Hospice raised cash and awareness as they called on the public to “make a change with some change”.
Yvette Smith, from the fundraising team, said: “It was great fun and we had people of all ages generously laying down money including £10 and £5 notes.
“The mayor kindly came along, and really helped rally support.
"Lots of awareness was raised about South Bucks Hospice and the wonderful services we offer.
“We were really pleased with how the people of Marlow joined in so positively to this event.”
