Crowds descended on Beaconsfield Old Town on Bank Holiday Monday as the annual spectacle, the stretcher race and country fayre, returned once again.
The highlight of the fayre - which is now in its 12th year - the popular stretcher race, saw dozens of teams race round on a tour of pubs while carrying one team member on a stretcher.
And for the budding athletes there was the children’s stretcher race where teams of four youngsters carried a teddy bear patient along a short course down Windsor End.
Meanwhile there was also a dog show, climbing wall, inflatable slide, petting zoo, balloon race, classic car show and craft stalls to keep families entertained.
Beaconsfield Country Fayre is organised by the Friends of St Mary’s Church, Rennie Grove Hospice Care, the Rotary Club, the Round Table and the Beaconsfield Society, and over the past 11 years has raised more than £135,000 for local charities.
