A High Wycombe man has been jailed for more than six years after he stole jewellery, an iPad and car keys, among other items, from Marlow and Bourne End.
Vincent Trillow, 38, of Aveline Road, stole the items, along with designer handbags, cash and games consoles.
The first incident took place between December 22 and 28 last year, when he broke into a house in Bourne End.
He then burgled another property in Marlow between January 15 and 16.
Trillow was arrested on March 5 and subsequently charged on March 22.
He was found guilty by a jury at Aylesbury Crown Court of two counts of burglary in a dwelling and acquitted of two further counts.
Trillow was jailed for six-and-a-half years behind bars for one count and five-and-a-half years for the second count to run concurrently.
Investigating Officer Detective Constable Beck Brydon of the Investigation Hub based at High Wycombe police station, said: “Burglary is an incredibly invasive crime and one that we will always investigate seriously.
“This substantial sentence helps show the impact of these crimes and how they are viewed by the criminal justice system.
“Thanks to the hard work and lengthy investigation, this is a great result and the sentence will ensure that Trillow cannot cause further harm to the community for some time.”
