The mayor of High Wycombe helped the town’s Citizens Advice Bureau settle into its new home while learning about the vital work it does for residents.

Citizens Advice High Wycombe welcomed Cllr Sarfaraz Raja and Cllr Suzanne Brown to its new office in Queen Victoria Road to celebrate its relocation.

Every year the 60 volunteers at the organisation help more than 5,000 people who have problems with financial matters, debt, benefits, housing or immigration.

Councillor Raja said: “I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to hear about the important work done by Citizens Advice to help people in High Wycombe, to meet volunteers and staff and to show support for what they do.”

Advice given by the volunteers is confidential, impartial and free.
