Buckinghamshire Business First is set to move into a new office at Bucks New University - and plans to create a new hub to help support companies.

The new premises are located in the ‘West Wing’ of the University’s High Wycombe Campus.

The new business hub will open in early October and there will be an official launch event at their AGM on November 22 for businesses and partners to learn more about how to benefit from the space.

The hub - co-sponsored by the Institute of Directors - will feature a hot desk area with free Wi-Fi, bookable meeting rooms and pods, break-out space for informal meetings and easy access to refreshments on site.

Philippa Batting, Buckinghamshire Business First managing director, said: “Not only will the new office be a great place for our team to work, the location at Buckinghamshire New University brings us closer to one of the significant education institutions in the region, one which encourages entrepreneurialism and business development.”

Greta Paa-Kerner, head of business engagement at Bucks New University, said: “Buckinghamshire New University looks forward to sharing not only office space but ideas and further collaboration with Buckinghamshire Business First.

“Through co-locating and working in synergy, we are confident our efforts around enterprise, business growth and innovation will produce dynamic multiplier effects.

“Welcoming Buckinghamshire Business First also provides further proof that Buckinghamshire New University is an attractive base location for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) aligned with the sector areas we focus on.”

The hub is designed to be a workspace for businesses to meet and for those who work from home.
