A manhunt has been launched after a knife-wielding robber stole money from a 50-year-old man in High Wycombe.
At around 7.15pm last Thursday (October 4) the victim was walking along John Hall Way when he was approached from behind by a man who threatened him with a knife and demanded money.
The victim handed over £20 and the man ran away.
Police said the victim was not injured.
The attacker has been described as a man, about 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build. He was said to be wearing a dark hooded top with light coloured trousers and dark shoes.
Investigating officer DC Laura Burns, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of this offence to please come forward.
“I would also urge anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the area to get in touch as it may provide vital information.”
