An e-fit of a man has been released after a burglar broke into a property in Saunderton.

At around 4am on Thursday, September 27, a man broke into the property, in Bledlow Road, by smashing the glass in a back door.

A woman woke up to find him in her home and he was chased out of the house by residents.

The man has been described as a white man aged in his twenties, around 5ft 6ins tall, with a medium build and short dark hair. He was said to be wearing black clothing and a head torch.

Investigating officer PC Kirsty Morgan, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man depicted in this e-fit or who may have witnessed this incident.

“If you have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area in the early hours of 27 September, please review it and let us know if you think you have captured anything.

“This is a distressing incident for those involved and we are conducting a thorough investigation to bring the offender to justice.”
