A man was robbed and racially abused by a pair of moped riders in Gerrards Cross last week.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident in South Park Drive at 9.05pm on Wednesday, October 17.

The victim was walking along Packhorse Road when a moped with two riders drove past him, then turned around in Orchehill Avenue.

The man then walked along an alleyway, and when he arrived at South Park Drive he heard the moped approaching him.

One of the riders attempted to grab hold of the victim’s bag, however he managed to push the rider off the moped, and the vehicle fell to the floor.

Both riders ran off and the victim chased one of them along South Park Drive.

During the chase the rider hurled racial abuse at the victim.

Both robbers were wearing full face helmets and dark clothing. One was described as a white man with a skinny build and around 5ft 8ins tall. He had an Irish accent and was wearing light sports-type clothing.

The moped is a grey long moped, similar to a Honda Helix, with 02 in the registration.
