A manhunt is underway to find a burglar who was spotted stealing tools from a garage by the panicked victim as she returned home.

Detectives have released an E-fit image of a man they would like to speak to following the break-in at a property in Lane End.

The incident took place at a property in Marlow Road on Tuesday, October 16 at about 7am.

The victim, a 31-year-old woman, returned home to see a man carrying tools away from her garage.

The offender a mixed-race man, aged in his late twenties or early thirties, about 5ft 10ins tall with dark eyes and a thin black goatee beard.

He was wearing a black hooded Nike top with the hood up, dark trousers and dark trainers.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Rebecca Brydon, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I would like to speak to the man in this E-Fit image, or anyone who recognises him or who has any information as to his whereabouts.
