A speed restriction over defective track between Surbiton and Clapham Junction means that trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines.

Train services running to and from these stations may be delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 22:00.

South Western Railway have been informed of a suspected track defect between Surbiton and Clapham Junction. This means that, as a precaution, some trains are having to run at reduced speed through this area. Network Rail engineers are aware of the issue and working to rectify the problem. However, until this work is complete, trains travelling from Surbiton towards Clapham Junction may be delayed or revised at short notice.

Trains that are booked to call at platform 7 at Clapham Junction will no longer call at this station. Passengers on board these trains requiring Clapham Junction are advised to travel to London Waterloo from where you can catch a service back down to Clapham Junction.
