Motorway crashes have been causing chaos around south Bucks this morning.
One lane was blocked on the M40 southbound carriageway between J4 (Handy Cross) and J3 (Loudwater) following a “multiple vehicle” smash, at around 7.30am.
And traffic was held on the M25, going clockwise, between J16 (M40) and J17 (Maple Cross) to deal with another multi-vehicle crash just after 7.30am.
All the vehicles on the M25 were cleared at 8am, with drivers being warned of “residual” delays of around 35 minutes, and the M40 vehicles were cleared at around 8.40am with all lanes opened.
Drivers in High Wycombe reported delays of up to 80 minutes to travel from the A404 to Marlow Hill.
