A 33-year-old has been arrested in connection with a “chemical attack” that left a man with burns in High Wycombe.
A man in his thirties had a liquid thrown over him when he answered his front door in Bevelwood Gardens on the evening of Halloween.
He suffered burns to his face and his feet and had to be taken to Wycombe Hospital.
Now, a 33-year-old man from the town has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent and throwing or casting a corrosive fluid with intent to burn/maim/disfigure/disable or do grievous bodily harm in connection with the attack.
He has been released under investigation by Thames Valley Police.
